Our services are available to anyone who might benefit from them, regardless of age, race, marital status, sexual orientation, religion or social background. Click on the name of each type of counselling to find out more.
Relationship Counselling
Our main form of counselling. We can provide counselling for you and your partner or for you on your own. You do not have to be married or civil partnered to use our services. We can help if you are having difficulties and want to work them out, if you want to separate, or even if your relationship has ended.
Autism Relationship Counselling
We have developed a new service to provide relationship support for couples where one or both may be Autistic
Personal Counselling
Our short term counselling service for individuals meets a diverse range of emotional and psychological needs that can be addressed through one to one therapeutic support.
Sex Therapy
Psychosexual therapy is very successful for many couples who are experiencing sexual difficulties, providing they have a steady relationship and ideally attend the sessions together. You do not have to be married or civil partnered.
Sexually Compulsive Behaviour Counselling
We offer individual therapy for the treatment of Sex addiction and sexually compulsive behaviour.
Family Counselling
Family Counselling is a service for anyone you define as your family. With you we would hope to find the strengths in your family life, as well as preferred ways of interacting which will build on those strengths. Where there are challenges, we believe that it is in the way families interact, rather than the ways individuals behave, which is the most helpful focus of change.
Children's and Young People's counselling
We offer support to children (5-12 years) and young people (13-18 years) who are adversely affected by traumatic life circumstances, including family change or breakdown, loss or bereavement, or other social or environmental difficulties with which they feel they require additional help.
Relate4parents
Relate4Parents is a service offering support and information to any parent, whether you are living together with your children, or you are a single parent, a step-parent, separating or separated parent. The only criteria is that you wish to focus on the needs of your child and are willing to collaborate to improve your relationship with them. This service is delivered in one session but if you and the counsellor agree that further sessions would be helpful we may be able to offer these.
Check-In Service
Sometimes it helps to know that once you have completed your counselling you can come back and talk to your counsellor again. This service gives you an opportunity, in one or two one-off sessions, to remind yourself of important conversations you had in counselling or refresh your memory about strategies that you found helpful; or perhaps revisit aspects of your difficulties that may need attention.
One Session Therapy
One Session Therapy is a new service to help you work though a specific issue quickly with one of our counsellors. You can come alone or attend with a family member or partner so that you can work together on an issue with your counsellor. It's perfect for individuals or couples who can identify one specific skill they want to build or a problem they want to work on but don't think their area of concern needs to be addressed over a number of counselling sessions.
