Talking about your sex life can be difficult or even embarrassing. But it's also one of the best ways to get through the issues.

Talking about your sex life can be difficult or even embarrassing. But it's also one of the best ways to get through any issues.

Our counsellor was very understanding and didn't take sides. Her manner and tone came across very calmly and relaxed. She has helped to get us back on track.

What is Sex Therapy?

Sex Therapy can help you deal with problems in your sex life or just help you spice things up again. People come to Sex Therapy for lots of different reasons. Some of the most common reasons are:

  • Having a different sex drive to your partner
  • Feeling like you're stuck in the same routine
  • Problems with getting aroused
  • Feeling like you aren't having enough sex
  • Issues with premature or delayed ejaculation
  • Difficulties with orgasm
  • Sexual addiction
  • Painful sex
  • A lack of enjoyment or interest for one or both partners

We can help with a wide range of issues, including many not listed above. The best way to find out if we can help you is to get in touch.

What happens in Sex Therapy?

After booking an appointment, you'll come in for an initial consultation. If you're in a relationship, it's useful if you come with your partner, as many sexual issues stem from issues present in the relationship itself.

If your counsellor thinks Sex Therapy would be useful, you'll begin to see your therapist regularly. At the end of each session, they'll give you some practical exercises to try out in the privacy of your own home.

Everything you say will be entirely confidential and your therapist will do everything they can to help you feel comfortable and relaxed.

What is the cost of Sex Therapy?

We are a charity and don't make a profit from the services we provide. We currently charge £77 for each Sex Therapy session. We know that you might have concerns about the cost of living right now, and we have a variety of options available for people on lesser incomes or who might struggle to pay.

The best way to find out is to get in touch.
