If you've got stuff going on at home or at school, it can be tough trying to figure it out by yourself. Children and young people's counselling can help you talk over any difficult issues and think about what you'd like to do.

If it's bullying, stress over exams, your parents splitting up, arguments with friends, problems with your girlfriend or boyfriend or you're simply feeling low, we are here to help.

I found it helpful in understanding how to be less anxious and stressed and to be happier and think of good things.

What happens in a counselling session?

When you meet your counsellor, you'll have a chance to talk about whatever's on your mind. They won't judge you or tell you what to do, they'll just listen. Anything you say is just between you and them - and that includes your parents. Having someone to talk to who isn't involved can be a really good way of thinking about things. Sometimes just talking about it out loud is enough to make a start.

Who can have counselling?

Our team of experienced counsellors works with children and young people from age five to 18, offering a variety of talking, play and art therapies.

How much does counselling cost?

We are a charity and don't make a profit from the service we provide. We currently charge £44 for each children and young people's counselling session. We know that you might have concerns about the cost of living right now, and we have a variety of options available for people on lesser incomes or who might struggle to pay.

The best way to find out if we can help is to get in touch.
