If your parents are separating or getting divorced we can help.
We understand what you are going through and are here to listen to you and answer any questions you have about what's happening at home.

This is about you and how you feel.

What happens?
We give you the chance to talk to someone who has been trained to help you. If you need a new CD you go to HMV, if you need someone to talk to who will understand what you are going through and be able to help you then you go to a Counsellor. It's that simple.

Will you tell anyone what I say?
Whatever you tell us is strictly confidential so the only people who will know about it are Relate staff, you and whoever you choose to tell. We will only tell someone if you are being hurt or are in danger, but we will normally talk to you first.

Will you tell anyone I'm here?
You will have to tell somebody where you going for your own safety, but it's up to you whether you tell your mum, dad or another relative.

Will I have to stay if I don't want to?
No, you're here because you want someone to listen to you about how you feel so if you want to leave then it's your choice. This is about you and what you want, not anyone else.

How will it help me?
It will help you understand what's going on at home and why it's happening. It will give you the chance to say how you feel and what you're worried about.
